In May 2007 Lino and Sarah Poli of Firenze set out to create a Pizzeria with real style - welcome to Boboli Restaurant.
Set in the very next village to Firenze, regarded as one of the finest Italian restaurants in the country, our reputation for great service, food and surroundings continues at Boboli, but on a simpler, more rustic Italian level.
A great place for the whole family, we open all day long, from 10am Tuesday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sundays, so no matter when you feel like eating, Boboli will be open.
As well as superb home made Pizzas, one look at the menu will tell you this is not all that can be enjoyed at Boboli, the freshest of seafood and fine local meats, seasonal vegetables with some wonderful traditional Italian favorites too.
An excellent all Italian wine list offers something for every palate, and changes regularly, with some wonderful little known gems to discover.
This relax section is all about letting you know Boboli news we think you'll all love, so keep coming back and take five minutes out to relax with Boboli.
We hope to see you soon.
Prezzo Fisso at Boboli. Roll out the red carpet for lunchtimes
Our ever popular Piatto Unico lunchtime menu at Firenze prompted us to offer something similar at Boboli. We call it Prezzo Fisso.
Great value 2 or 3 courses including coffee, Prezzo Fisso makes lunchtime a rather glitzy affair. Served Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 2pm, for advance bookings call us on 0116 279 3303.
Of course, if you can't wait until 12 noon, Boboli will be open all day, every day from 10am, and we all know what that means.
Ciao for now, see you all soon.
A fashion show with a cause at Boboli
Watch out London Fashion Week, here comes Boboli. We recently held a fashion show here at Boboli to raise money for Loros, and what an amazing lunch it was.
Thanks to Flo & Sang for some simply stunning clothes, the beautiful models and Indy Hair, it was a real success. We served up plenty of chilled Prosecco followed by a scrumptious lunch. There's some wonderful pictures of the event, kindly captured by the Lens Butterfly, take a look

'As seen on TV'
We all knew Lino could be an enchanting TV chef , but who would have thought he'd do it without even cooking!
The BBC's new series - Michael Wood's Story of England started recently, and the entire program was based around Kibworth village, where we live and work.
The program uncovers the lost history of the first thousand years of the village, featuring a Roman villa, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and graphic evidence of life on the eve of the Norman Conquest.
More importantly for us, is that the program featured not only the fine Boboli building in Kibworth Harcourt, but both Lino and Sarah received excellent air time that helped showcase just what a picturesque location we're in.
We're quite rightly proud of our village, it's heritage and community, and it was great to give the world a little taste, (mind you, the best way to really taste is to pop in and see us at Firenze or Boboli)
If you're quick, you may be able to catch the program on the wonderful BBC IPlayer, just search 'Michael Wood's Story of England'.
BBC Olive magazine serves up a treat for Boboli and Firenze
This months edition of the highly regarded foodie magazine - Olive, had a treat in store for us - An Italian special.
We're always thrilled to be listed in articles like this, but Olive has taken it one step further, and listed both Boboli and Firenze, as among the best in the country - wow.
Boboli was featured in the 'Family Friendly' pages, which again, makes us so happy, as this has always been our aim - to serve the best, simple food in relaxed surroundings for the whole family to enjoy. "Lovely baby sister to Firenze, but more laid-back and open all day. The Boboli Bambini menu is a digest of everything loved by children" Here is our current Boboli Bambini menu
Firenze was noted for it's homemade pasta "It's a lucky village that boasts the likes of Firenze. It's pasta transcends the conventional". We're quite rightly thrilled by this, as any self respecting Italian chef can always be judged by the quality of their homemade pasta. You can almost taste how good it is here
Thank you Olive, we love you too.
Cinguettio (Twitter in Italian)
Everyone knows how much we love talking about food & wine here at Boboli, but sometimes we just don't get the chance to talk to everyone.
So, we've just joined the ever growing Twitter community, which means we can share our little daily experiences, last minute offers (just for you Twitterers) and anything else we think you may find of interest.
We'll be hooking up with people we admire (Antonio Carluccio, Sharpham Park and Slow Food UK have already grabbed our attention), and also the people who follow us. Those 140 letters really do help us all get to know each other.
Yes, Boboli is now open all day, we sat and thought long and hard about this one, the typical Boboli days starts early with baking of fresh breads, deliveries and preparation, so why not open early too. And because there's so much to do during the day and into the evening, why not stay open all day, so we did.
A Boboli day is as exciting as it is long, from fragrant morning coffees, and delicious pastries through to lunch time, which now features Prezzo Fisso, our great value set lunch menu.
Pushing on into the afternoon, you can enjoy Stuzzichini, a light snack menu - try our Piadini, a flat pizza sandwich with one of the gorgeous fillings on offer, from rare roast beef, rocket and parmesan to tomato and mozzarella salad.
Early evening is children's time, with a very special menu just for them - Boboli Bambini, they'll love it, they'll also be able to grab a club card, collect points and come for a free supper.
Evenings are as buzzing as ever, with regular changes to the menu, fresh fish dishes every day, and an ever growing wine list.
So that's the Boboli Day, it really is a full day, and we know you'll love every minute of it.
